The reason it asks you to remove the old files is because if you delete directories in the control panel those directories (generated) will stay behind in your 'html' directory, leaving it behind creates dead files that has no purpose.
If you generate files via the control panel, it might also be a good idea to remove generated pages every once in a while when building the directory index. |
