Question: Can your Search Engine go out and crawl the web?
Answer: PowerSeek has a crawler that fetches page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords. You feed it URLs and it looks at the URLs supplied for page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords. It does not Index entire sites. PowerSeek is category based. (Not like google.com) In other words, you can build a category based search engine like Looksmart.com or Dmoz.org or Yahoo's directory (http://dir.yahoo.com/)

Note that PowerSeek SQL comes with 2 crawlers.
