Question: I have just edited the 'Add URL' templates in the template manager. When I returned to make futher changes to the template I get the box to edit the HTML code but under that I also get the actual Add URL form as a web page, If i try to save changes nothing happens. In other words, the 'Add URL' form partially displays when I try to edit it inside the template manager and does not save when I try to implement changes. (The template manager page where I edit the 'Add URL' templates looks garbled.

Answer: Your 'Add URL' template has a scrolling text box. The scrolling text box has the effect of influencing the actual HTML code used in the Template manager. In other words the scrolling text box creates a situation where the HTML code is not displaying correctly in your browser when trying to edit the template(S).

To solve the problem, manually open your 'Add URL' templates. To do this you will need to transfer/ftp the 'Add URL' templates from your host to your hard drive and edit them with your web editor. After your changes has been implemented, upload the template(s) and replace your old ones.

The templates is situated inside the 'data' directory of PowerSeek. If you are not sure where the 'data' directory is situated on your host, go to the template manager and choose to edit add_url.html or add_urlp.html. The popup window will display the full server path to the 'Add URL' templates. (at the top of the page)
