Question: I recently bought a web site template that I would like to implement with PowerSeek. Is there a quick way to implement the template without editing all templates?

Answer: Yes, there is a quick way to implement it. To implement it, follow the instructions below:

Step 1. Get links to place inside your template:

Go to the Control Panel >> Create/Configure Front Page >> 1. Setup/Configure Front Page >> Javascript Front Page Categories >> Click the Next button >> on the next screen scroll down until you see a box with a 'Help' heading. This box will list the 'Whats New', 'Most Popular', Login, etc. links. Take these links and implement them into your existing template so that you have 'Whats New', 'Most Popular', Login, links inside your template.

This screen will also contain a heading reading: 'Search Box HTML Code'. Also place this HTML code inside your template so that it has a 'Search Box' for your Search Engine & Directory.

Step 2. Implement Template

Now your template should contain the links 'Whats New', 'Most Popular', Login, etc. and a search box as well.

To implement the template go to the Control Panel >> Master Template Importer Ver: 1.0 >> Start the Wizard to Implement a Global Template

Now inside your template place the text !!psdata!! - The !!psdata!! will be replaced by PowerSeek functions that enables users to view categories, view search results, etc.

After placing !!psdata!! in the template upload the template.
