Question: When end users modify links, the extra fields/key data they enter does not show up in the link. The extra field/key data disappears.

Answer: Open and edit 'Modify Links' templates. To do this go to the Control Panel >> 3. Add URL Templates

Double check that the fill-in-field box names has the names of your fields/keys. This means that all the fill-in-field-boxes for extra fields/keys must correspond to the field/key names you have.

Let’s say you have 3 fields/keys. Their names are:
city
town
zip

In the Modify Templates displaying the link listings details to be modified you should have the following so that end-users are able to successfully modify extra field/key data:

City: <input type="text" name="city" size="20" value="%%city%%"><br>
Town: <input type="text" name="town" size="20" value="%%town%%"><br>
Zip: <input type="text" name="zip" size="20" value="%%zip%%">

You can also view instructions on setting up extra fields inside the 'Modify' templates by clicking the 'Explanation of Variables Used Inside This Template' link when editing the 'Modify' templates.
