Question: My generated HTML files are situated here:
http://www.mydomain.com/pseek/

I would like it to look like this:
http://www.mydomain.com/search/
or
http://www.mydomain.com/dir/

Answer: Create a directory called ‘dir’ in your public HTML directory if you want PowerSeek to generate HTML files in the 'dir' directory. Generated files will then be placed here:
http://www.mydomain.com/dir/

Then assign the permission setting of 777 to it.

Transfer all the files from:
http://www.mydomain.com/pseek
to:
http://www.mydomain.com/dir

Load setup.cgi in your web browser. Load setup.cgi like this for example:
http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/pseek/admin/setup.cgi

If you don’t have setup.cgi then unzip the .zip archive in which PowerSeek comes and transfer setup.cgi to your PowerSeek CGI Script Admin directory. Then assign the permission setting of 755 to setup.cgi (setup.cgi is located inside the .zip installation archive under the 'cgi' directory)

After you have loaded setup.cgi, agree to the terms by pressing the ‘I Agree To The Terms’ button. Go through the steps until you can change the:

'Url Path where HTML files are to be stored'
and
'Full Server Path where HTML files are to be stored:'

Change these paths to reflect 'dir' instead of 'pseek'.
