Question: I get the following when I try to backup data:

SQL Syntax Error: Can't create/write to file '....../somedatadir/dbbackup/backup.sql' (Errcode: 2)

Answer: The 'dbbackup' directory is not writable. This means that the script cannot write to ‘....../somedatadir/dbbackup/links.txt' – To fix the problem assign permission settings of 777 to ‘somedatadir/dbbackup’ where ‘somedatadir’ is the ‘data’ directory of your PowerSeek installation and ‘dbbackup’ is a directory created by the scripts to place the database backup files in.

You can find out where the PowerSeek 'data' directory is by going to the Control Panel >> Home tab >> Configuration Info
