Question: When logged in and navigating through categories to submit a link the following message is displayed when clicking the 'Add URL' link:

'To add your URL, please go to the category where you think your web site would suite the category best. Then click on 'Add Url' to add your web site to the index.'

It won't take me to the 'Add URL' form to submit a URL.

Answer: The Add URL link that you have inside your category template (defdir.html) is not correct. The Add URL link should look something like this:

<a href="http://www.focalmedia.net/cgi-bin/knowledge/addurl.cgi">Add URL</a>

The defdir.html template can be edited inside the Control Panel >> Template Manager >> 1. Default Category/Directory Templates

Something else you can also do would be to switch to the Medium Sized Search Engine Add URL forms. To do this go to the Control Panel >> Settings >> Global Engine Settings >> 5. New Submission Settings - Look for a setting that reads: 'What 'Add URL' form will you be using?' and set it to use: 'Medium Sized Search Engine'.
