We are trying to set up FMSS in a very specific way by are having problems with search outpu.
This what we want to do:
We have a site with several hotels.
/ambassadeur/index.html
/beach/index.html
/savoy/index.html
etc.
In each canse the < TITLE > is set at Ambassadeur Hotel etc.
We want visitors so be able to put in just "b" and have a list of all hotels starting with that letter.
At the moment, partial matching means that the listing comes up as
Ambassadeur Hotel
Beach Hotel
.. because the letter "b" occurs in the word. All the names starting with "b" really need to come to the top.
Similarly, as search for "SA"
Returns:
Ambassadeur Hotel
Savoy
We have tried every combination of Advanced search to try to alterthis order, without success.
Any ideas?

This would not be possible with FM SiteSearch Pro as you will need some kind of trigger to fetch all hotels starting with B, etc... The matching of FM SiteSearch would be too broad - it's primary purposes is to search pages and display them by relevance according to what keywords was specified.
Maybe you could use Turbo Seek and categorise links to the pages in the fashion you want it. For more on Turbo Seek see:
