I can log into the control panel but the admin.cgi file only brings up a blank page. What's wrong?

Thanks, DV

Hi DV,

Check that your computer's date is set correctly. If that is set correctly and it does'nt solve the problem, then it may be that the server/host's date is set incorrectly.

Let me know if you need more assistance.

Rerun setup.cgi and double check the paths. Note that no path should end with a slash character. A slash character is: /

I get a verification that all paths exist.

Now what? I've tried every path I can think of...

Try using another browser to see what it does.

when I try using NS4, it warns me of a blank page....

Is there a debug version of admin.cgi available?

Maybe it would be a good idea to go over the installation instructions again.

We are also able to set it up for you. Contact me directly for pricing and a payment form. We normally do installations for $25

My email is miles@focalmedia.net

I'll have to ask the boss about even the lousy $25!

I've been through the instructions time and time again. As I mentioned, the setup.cgi works well and all the directories exist and the permissions seem ok: 755 on the CGI, and for some unknown reason admin.cgi generates only a blank screen. It does login correctly, and is smart and operates well enough to reject a bad password.

What is the easiest way of simply printing a "123" message, and I'll debug ( I code, but have never done CGI coding: will a 'print "123";' work?)

Thanks!
