Hi,

Excellent Programe!

However - I have followed all instructions to add Administrator / Moderator and indeed assigned them to the forums.

On setting up a test post and then going back to delete or edit it. It will not allow me to do so.

I simply get the message Username/ Password not filled in or invalid - when it clearly is filled in and valid.

Any help appreciated, thanks

Hi Scott,

Ensure that your 'data' directory and it's contents has the permission setting of 777

Also check that you have the latest version. You can get the latest version from:
http://www.focalmedia.net/sitenetbbs.html#download

The latest version is 2.0.2

Hi, thanks for the quick reply to my post.

I am still having some issues.

Ok I have set permissions of 777 for the data directory and everything in it.

If I remove all the text in the post, I again get the invalid password etc.

I can only seem to edit messages but I can not delete them as the delete button is not displayed.

I can get into the Main Control Panel and delete them from there using my home comp and laptop but my office comp will not accept my main Username and Password.

Any Ideas?

Many Thanks
Scott

Ensure that your office comp has browser cookies enabled. Are you sure you have the latest version?

I have also been experiencing the same issues. I have a two week old version, so I imagine that it is one of the latest available. I have tried across multiple OSs and browsers (Linux, Windows, Solaris, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla) and they all have failed. Strangely they used to work. Perhaps it's a cookie issue. I had also chmod -R 777 forum_data to ensure that all data is accessible. Please help.

We seem to have trouble duplicating it this side but if you can grant me access to your control panel then I believe I should be able to clear it up for you. If it's software related then we will create a fix. Mail me at miles at focalmedia.net

Thanks
