Was wondering where in the online documentation, or elsewhere on this site, one can find descriptions of what “admin.cgi” through “admin7.cgi” does? In a previous post in the Tips and Tricks forum, admin7.cgi is mentioned to recount a given forum. Looking for similar insight to the remaining administrative scripts. If there is no link currently available, would it be possible to have the information listed here in a reply?

All the admin scripts except admin7.cgi is used to power the control panel. admin7.cgi is the only script that you can load seperately to recount topics/messages. admin7.cgi is like a utility that looks through your 'data' files for errors or inconsistencies where they occur and fixes it. Normally admin7.cgi would be required to be used rarely.
