it's me ... AGAIN. just noticed the following:
when you click to Edit a post, you can edit and make changes no problem. but on the left side column, it states "... or click the Delete Button to delete the post." (or something like that.)
but there isn't a "delete button". noticed this on my own forum and the one here ...

You can delete replies when you click the edit button, but you cannot delete the message that started the topic or delete the entire topic. To delete topics, log in as a moderator by clicking the moderator button.
