.... Is there a way to disable the email validation?
I'd rather not have it, however, I'm seeing that it's not an option. I have an XP Home and Pro setup, I'd like to know the best mailserver to use so my users can validate themselves and get their PW's ...

If you want to use smtp you need to run setup.cgi and ensure that you have selected smtp. The mail server address you are asked to provide is the address of your mail server. For example: mail.yourdomain.com
You will normally have to use your own mail server (from your domain) and the from addresses that you use to send mail from needs to be email addresses of your domain. To set the email address from which email is set, go to the control panel. Then click on the 'settings' tab. Look for a setting that reads 'email address' and provide an email address from your domain.
