Dear Fellow PowerSeek Users,
It has come up on this board how buying links can seriously damage your Google page rankings and is against Google's policy. Truth is, Google is okay with buying and selling links as long as you comply with their paid link policies. However, it really can hurt your page rankings terribly if you use paid links incorrectly.
Just so you know, Google now has a new reporting tool to report any site using paid links that is not in compliance with Google's policy! Now, I am not posting this link so you guys can report your competitors, but so you guys can buy or sell paid links without damaging your Google page rankings.
If you would like to learn more about Google's paid link policy directly, here is a link to Matt Cutts' (currently the head of Google's Webspam team) blog. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/how-to-report-paid-links
Good luck. |

I think the main thing to keep in mind is that Google is concerned to provide accurate results to people and anything that undermines their attempts will be bad. So the main thing is probably relevance and not trying to fool Google.
