Topic: Stopping link additions to all categories |

Is there a way to stop people from adding their link to every category. I would like to be able to restrict them to only two at a maximum. The check duplicate url doesn't seem to stop this.

Duplicates are only checked against the search index (to make things as fast as possible) - for this reason users will be able to add to more than 1 link at the same time.
It might be a good idea to check out the spam filter which enables you to permanently ban some links being submitted.
(control panel >> settings & options >> spam filter)
Version 2.0 will have a solution to this problem. We will post any news on upcoming beta and preview versions on the forum. The upgrade to version 2.0 will be free.
