Is it possible to insert a javascript inside a TS template to automatically display a small thumbnail pic of each of the URL listings, almost like what is done using MSN search. This must be generated on the fly.

And where can I find such a script? This will be a HOT feature if it cannot already be done this way!

OR, another way of doing it will probably be to make it part of TS and then the thumbnails are generated at the time of re-indexing the files.

You can use images with listings. See:

Future versions might contain something similar.

Thanks Miles, I am aware of this nice feature which already exist.

What I was thinking about is a script that would automatically create that thumbnail from the URL. So that when the site is re-indexed, the script would create the thumbnail.

Or would that be problematic?

Thanks...

I think the indexing might be considerably slowed down because the URL page will have to be fetched for a screen shot or thumbnail to be created - for each URL.

Could be interesting checking into this, but it would most probably be in the distant future after ver 2.0 has been released.

The upgrade for Turbo Seek ver 2.0 wil be free.

You might want to have a look at this company. They provide such a service, which can integrate into any site.

Go to the business solutions page where visual examples are given, and how the system architecture works. It is really neat!
