1) I have been using the admin22.cgi (telnet) and my directory is OK but when I build my page index, it never builds the entire directory. I have just about given up trying to build the pages but when I use the live directory, it takes so long to load the categories and pages (the template is very small in size) (I am on a dedicated server). The site where I am having problems is www.aaise.com and an example of a script generated page is

http://www.aaise.com/cgi-bin/tseekdir.cgi?location=Root-Arts

The built version of the page is located at

http://www.aaise.com/html/Arts

2) I have noticed that my search index is still only indexing my Arts category rather than the entire directory (I am using mysql)

The script eventually times out when accessing a live generated page

Hi Dayo,

If all the directories are not built and you ran admin22.cgi then it might be that the file containing the directory structure is not writable. The file with the directory structure is used when building indexes.

Try the following:

Assign permissions of 777 to all files in your files inside the 'data' directory. Ensure that the file called dtable.idx is set to the permission setting of 777

I won't recommend running a large directory 'live'
