hi Miles
Some security issue with the voting system. If somebody saves the page where you are able to vote on, and opens it in an html editor. Then you can change the values. somebody could change the value 10 to 1000 and then run it and vote. If somebody does that , then your site shows big number of scores!!!
maybe a good fix for the next version

This has been sorted out.
Get the updated version at (1.63a)
http://www.focalmedia.net/tbdownload.html
If you have version 1.63 just replace rate_it.cgi with the one in the .zip archive you downloaded. This will remedy the problem and upgrade your copy to version 1.63a
