Hi,

Are there any samples of websites made of TurboSeek.?

I can not test the software before I can buy it.

I understand that I need a dnomain first.

So I need some examples of websites.

Thank you in advanced.

Regards,

Gulano

Hi Gulano,

You can find a list of sites that use Turbo Seek here:
http://www.focalmedia.net/index_tb.html#sdemo
Look for the heading reading: 'Live Sites using Turbo Seek'

You can install it on your local Linux server without a domain name. You will then just use an IP address.

Hi Gerrit,

Thank you for the tip.

>>You can install it on your local Linux server without a domain name. You will then just use an IP address.

Gerrit,

I also tried to install it with an IP address but when the installation is getting to the end the software is still asking me for my domain.

Question:

1) Does the software has a bug or something?
2) Must I first change something in the configuration before TurboSeek can accept the IP address?
3) Is the problem my linux server?

I am looking forward to your reply with the right answers.

Thank you in advanced.

No, it does not.

> 2) Must I first change something in the configuration before TurboSeek can accept the IP address?

You can just use the IP address.

setup.cgi cannot save any paths you enter because it cannot write to config.cgi - Set config.cgi to the permission setting of 777

3) It sounds as if it runs CGI scripts propperly by looking at your other messages.
