Hi,

There are many websites in my country which I want to index.
Before I make the step to promote my website I was testing the website to see if I can crawl websites.

I had already done this with a view SEO software and at least it is indexing the home page or other index.html pages according to what you want..

I tested PS but from the 15 websites which I want to index no one was successful

Questions:

1)
Is it possible to configure PS to index websites (after a compromised with an owner of a website)?

2)
How can I index websites without making the owners to customize the settings or the configuration of their websites?

It could be a great help for the owners who want their websites to be indexed.
I have now more then 50 who want me to index their websites.

Thank you in advanced.

Diana

The software will crawl one website at a time, but will not do a deep-crawl of every page on the site, if that is what you mean.

To crawl a site, go to the Directory Manager and select a category that is not locked. When you click the blue 'Crawl' button, a dialog box will appear. be sure to put the full URL in the space provided. You can edit the crawled information immediately before accepting it, or afterwards by refreshing the page and choosing the edit feature.

If the site being spidered does not have any meta tags, it will let you know. In that case, you can use the yellow 'add link' button. Here you can fill in all of the fields, and send a prepared email to the site owner. If you do this, be sure to edit the message with your own directory information prior to submitting the site.

Hope this helps.
