Hi Gerrit,
Here's one for you,
We often rejct links due to poor information, wrong url, incorrect reciprical links. Now, when the submittor gets the message saying their link has been rejected, fix the problem then they have to go and submit it again as its deleted by PS.
My suggestion is :
Allow for rejected link to remain in the account holders area but not publicy viewable.
The submittor can then login, fix the problem (what it it was) and press update.
Admin can then take a look and if approved, can then accept the link.
Regards
Rik

Rik,
We reject 90 of every 100 submissions
Less than 5 come back to re-submit and the rest because it was submitted by script using catch all email address, never come back.
If they want to come back and take their time to fix the problem, then they can fire up a new submission and hopefully do it right second time around..
Why do you want to load your MySQL with extra data and then sweat your server?

Hi Amray,
I take your point but consider this...
When a submittor comes back to me complaining that their URL was rejected, I have no referance to look at as to why they were rejected,
The way I suggest allows for me to look at their submission details again.
If you reject as many as your refer, for the ones who come back to you asking why, how do you remember the reason you rejected them?
Regards
Rik

Rik,
99% of them send us rejection email and that is all we need to know.
If Guideline says: submit to appropriate category or don't use all caps, etc. it won't take to much time for you to find what they ignored and tell them that

Hi Amray,
Thats a little too 'draconian' for me, I like to assist whenever possible.
Remember, a customer who has a bad experience with a service never forgets and tells others.

Rik,
I hear what you're saying but with between 300 and 500 submitted sites per day and over 20,000 blacklisted IP, we don't care if 5 millions of spammers stay away from us and let other 50 millions of good people to submit their sites over next 20 years
Cheers
