Hi,

Looking at providing two button links :

1. This would show just free Standard links only
2. This would show Premium (Paid) Links only

Anyone doe this?

Regards

Rik

Rik,

Haven't thought of a good reason to do that yet, but I do something similar. I tweaked PowerSeek to have search results always show premium links above standard links.

Anybody can. Just open the search.cgi file and near the top you'll find an option you can change from 'no' to 'yes' to make premium links always show above standard links in search results.

Why? Because you can make more money by signing up with one or even thousands of merchants with affiliate programs and assigning them premium links. Then, when people do a search your income earning premium links will show above your non income earning standard links.

You can set your 'paid' premium links to show above your 'affiliated' premium links by assigning them greater 'hits' or 'priority', etc, in your control panel. This way your search results will return your paid premium links 1st, your affiliated premium links 2nd, and your standard links 3rd.

The downside is this negatively affects the variables !!relevance!! and !!rgraphic!! in your search results premium links. So, you would need to remove them from your premium links and/or standard links (if you even use them).

Anyway, directories show premium links above standard links, so why not set your search results to show premium links above standard links, and make a lot more money in the process?

It's one of PowerSeek's very cool hidden features you can use to make more money with affiliate marketing that almost nobody knows (knew) about.
