I installed the latest update and placed a script to show the total categories and links on my home page. I noticed that the total doesn't update after doing the 'Generate Everything At Once' option. Not sure if it will work using any of the others since I haven't tried those options. It DOES work only when I go to the plug in page and click the 'Generate the include/Get html code' link.
My understanding is that it should update the script when generating the HTML pages. Is this a bug?

The link include should update when you re-generate your pages. It is most likely the include (.js file) that is cached in your broser that makes it look like it did'nt update. Refresh your browser a couple of times.
You can also test this by opening a file called total_link.js - copy and paste the HTML code into your web editor and you will see that it did update.
If it did not update assign the permission setting of 777 to total_link.js

| There is definitely a glitch in this program. The total_links.js is 777. I generated the HTML pages, ftp'ed into the server and it didn't change until I went direct to the plug-in to generate it that way. |

| It must be a bug in the script. Generate all at once does not update the toal link include, but the first option to slowly Generate the HTML does update the include. |

Hi Mike,
We have been testing it this side without a problem.
I think it may be MySQL database related problem. Try this:
From the
Control Panel >> To Do >> Generate HTML Files
Choose the option 'Table Repair Kit'.
After doing the above, regenerate the HTML files to see if the file updates correctly. (displays the correct numbers)
If it does not update, physically open the file to check the number. The name of the file is total_link.js and is situated inside your 'html' directory.
Can I also ask what version do you have?
Thanks
Gerrit
