Checking updated and new sub-categories and pages and generate html pages for all applicable categories and pages will be more faster and it will not get more system resources.

If yes the I second that, also like the idea of automatically recognising the new updated categories since the last html generate and doing just those as well as all the includes that use them.

2 more advantages to having this:
1) Reduce the bandwidth consumed and utilizing cache well when not all pages are modified unnececarily with servers giving the modified date unchanged.
2) Also reduce bandwidth consumed by bots that have to reindex all the pages with every html refresh we do
