I know you folks approve postings before they appear here.

I posted a question some 3 days ago. It is yet to appear hear. I don't care if it appears, but can you just send me a response? It might not sound like a big deal question to you, but to me, it matters and I would please appreciate a response. You can send it to me privately if you like.

Thank you.

Maybe you made a post in the beta forum? The beta forum has been removed because there is not currently a beta version.

Please re-post your question.

Thanks
Gerrit

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using the !!url!! call in my directory?

My localized directory requires that I search painstakingly for the links and I was wondering if anyone could just use a inks harvester to get them in seconds if I use !!url!!.

Are others using it? Do the gains of having the url appear on the pages outweigh the potential risk of the links being harvested?

Thank you for your patience.

There is the likelyhood that your links can be harvested if you use !!url!! but if it only displays and is not actually a link I think the chances of the URLs being harvested will be less. I believe most URL harvesters will usually look for actual links and not just link displays.

Hope the info helps.
