Hi,
Wouldn't it be nice if PS optionally inserts automatic Meta Keywords and Meta Descriptions into newly created Categories ?

That can be done using the new category name itself along with its parent category name (In case of beeing at root level the site name can be used, also optianlly the site name can be used in all Meta's in the settings)

So for example if my Site is about Holland, when I create an Economy Category it would automatically display the following in the add dir window:
Directory Name: Economy
Meta Description: Holland Economy
Meta Keywords: Holland,Economy
and so on for nested categories .. like Holland Economy Banks ..

Then its up to us to delete those and overwrite them if needed when adding a new directory.

- Also on topic, when adding a nested directory, why not have it automatically use the template of its parent directory by default? This can be another option in the settings as well ..

Hi Mariusz,
Good idea thanx, pagetitle gives only the current category name, it would be nice as mentioned to have the parent directory as well as optional site name or site topic in the Meta's as well seperated by a comma in the Meta Keywords and space in the Meta Descriptions.
Additionally useful when adding multiple directories too where you don't have access to meta data

So, is it doable ?
Also if and when this feature is added, it would be even nicer if FM could add a tool or plugin to scan existing categories and append those meta and descriotions to current directories for us.
