How about a generate html for only one directory option, would be very useful for those with large number of links, and when updating one site, we do not have to waste time and server resources regenerating all pages, this is good as an additional option to what exists now not as a replacement, and should accept Directory or Category ID or multiple ID's for regeneration.

Hi Gerrit,
I will have to Re-Request the above feature again as the only fix for my problem unless you have another solution:
My directory exceeded 20,000 links and CGITelnet now is ALWAYS timing out generating HTML, I am stuck!
Please confirm the above as a coming feature or tell me what else I can do.
Thanks

Set the generator to use less resources. Your server is likely having trouble staying ahead of the load that is placed on it.

To lower the load on the server when building go to the Control Panel >> Settings >> HTML Generation Resource Usage

We have this planned for Ver 3.0

Great !
In that case would I be expecting in 3.0 the ability to :
1) Use the coming features via command as well (Telnet or CGITelnet)
2) Be able to specify multimple categories in one request 1,15,27,39 ..
3) Be Able to generate in Range as well 1-500, 900-1350 ...
If yes then thanx a lot, if no then still thanks and pls. consider it.
Any ETA on 3.0 ?

Hi Again,
The seetings you are suggesting won't fix it as I am running around 2000 categories, with the minimum delay per category of 1 second in cgi telnet, that would require the window to be open without timing out for over 33 minutes, and that is impossible , anyway, will wait for the 3.0 solution.
Thanks
