Links inside categories can now be sorted by reviews/comments. This means that links with the most to least reviews/comments will be listed firts. This can be configured by going to the Control Panel >> Settings >> Global Engine Settings >> 3. Directory/Category Listing Settings >> Look for the setting reading: Listings in Directories Sorted by
There was a bug in the setup script introduced in the previous version where the an IP address would be displayed instead of the domain name when asked to specify the domain that PowerSeek is being installed on. (PowerSeek will place the domain name it is being installed on by default)
Extra safety checks has been included with the Importer Plugin to ensure that the data being imported is in the correct format.
The Importer plugin now has an option to check for duplicates when importing links. Duplicate checking will be done against URLs. Duplicates will not be imported if the duplicate option has been selected when importing links.
A bug was introduced in an earlier version where the IFRAME Front Page generation method would produce links that would not jump out of the IFRAME when clicked for a Front Page.
When generating the Front Page exclusively the final screen confirming that the generation is complete would continue to reload. This is a minor bug that has been fixed.
A Wizard has been created for new users of PowerSeek. It helps new users to PowerSeek get started quickly.
