PowerSeek 4.1 is now available! - 14 Jan 2009

Below are the changes and new features.

  • Content fields are now available. Content fields comes with a full featured Wysiwyg editor where the contents of Content Fields can be edited. Extra Content fields can be added by going to the Control Panel >> Settings >> Extra Fields
Content Fields can be used to build content related or  mega content sites with PowerSeek holding thousands of Articles for example. Content fields makes it easy/convenient to add Articles with listings and display the full articles on  'More Info' pages for example.
 
This also provides the ability to use PowerSeek as a blog as the Wysiwyg editor makes it very easy and convenient to write Articles.
 
Also supported with the Content Fields are CSS support to  use CSS files with the Content Fields.
 
One of the major benefits in using PowerSeek as a content manager is that all Articles can be generated as plain HTML files making them friendly to Search Engines and for SEO.
  • Comments/Reviews can now be added for any link within the Directory  Manager by clicking the 'Reviews' link with each link listing. 
  • When editing custom category template sets scrolling text boxes  within the HTML code in templates would interfere with the display of the HTML code of the templates when editing custom category template sets. This has problem has been corrected.
